St. Rita Catholic Parish is a diverse and welcoming community of faith dedicated to forming disciples of the Good News of Jesus Christ through Word, Sacrament, and Service. In communion with the teachings of the Catholic Church and in partnership with Notre Dame Seminary, St. Rita’s disciples witness to their personal faith as a community on mission, extending God’s presence to our New Orleans neighborhoods. Tobit 11:5-17 • Mark 12:35-37
One knows Christ to be both "son of David" and "Lord" only through a relationship with him. When we "offer ourselves to the mercy of God", he fully "restores sight to our eyes" like Tobiah's blind father. And we go forward "rejoicing and praising God with full voice".
